The film you are about to see was found on an old VHS tape in a box we acquired from an estate sale. One of the reference photo shows a film reel labeled “Seance”. On the back was written “20th Century Fox Film storage. Little Ferry, New Jersey. The film storage facility in Little Ferry and all its films were lost in a fire on July 9th, 1937.

In a serene neighborhood, newcomers Katie and Jake are welcomed by the mysterious Harlan and his seemingly perfect community. However, as Katie uncovers Harlan’s obsession with an enigmatic entity, dark secrets emerge, leading to a chilling confrontation and a harrowing escape from the neighborhood’s hidden horrors.

SURPRISE! We’re dropping a new film in an hour. “Secrets Below” is our latest short horror film. It unfolds the story of Alex, who discovers eerie secrets in a beautiful, old house he rents a room in. The film focuses on creating a moody and atmospheric experience, allowing the viewer’s imagination to complete the narrative. This project is a nod to our roots, echoing the spirit of our original short films with its emphasis on tone and simplicity. We had rules for this one. We’d shoot the bulk of it in a single day (2 hours to be exact). We’d keep it as small and low budget as possible and try to tell the story with light, tone, and suspense. We really hope you enjoy this simple but fun and hopefully scary short horror film. Stay tuned!
